We are all so very excited for this transition. It has been a long time coming. Although, honestly, until this year we had no idea we would be going to Nashville.
While we are excited to go minister and serve in TN we are also torn over leaving family and loved ones here in Southern Oregon as well as the church we helped build for the past 13 years, Table Rock Fellowship. All of this makes it very hard to leave. But we know God is moving us on. And very far East.
Speaking of…we leave June 10th. By car. By moving truck.
Yes, we are all driving. Together. Across the country. In the summer. Together. Across the country.
Brent’s official first day at the North Campus is June 19th…Father’s Day.
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY, BRENT…We got you a church!!!
And, yes, Alece is coming with us. A family of five. Yay us!

So happy for you guys. I am sad for me who will miss you. Watching Brent and Kota this weekend made me realize how much I will miss you all!!!! The boys will miss Cassidy, David will be hopelessly lost without Kota and I will miss you all and your beautiful gifts during worship and elsewhere. But, alas life isn't all about me so I am so happy for you all and wish you the best!

When I first wrote this I was fighting with a migraine, Can I just say I am so very happy for you guys. God is so so faithful to faithful. I wish I could be there for his first sermon, the introduction of his first lady, (you). You've done exactly what God has asked you to do. I cannot imagine the jump start this will do for Kass and her musical career and you for your book.
But mostly, a jump start to a new life with Him involved. New people, new territories, and new opts to warm your heart!!

Well, I was expecting an announcement at TRF this weekend, but did I miss it? Will they be the last to know =}? 'Sounds like most who know you at all (including us) already do know.
I've enjoyed Pete's lessons online everytime I've listened, so do believe that's a good place for you to be. I was expecially impressed with their leadership set up ('lay' elders as well as paid staff). Kass said you'll be campus pastor(s), so I assume it's a video feed for the lessons (not Brent speaking =)? I'll be interested in hearing more here and online.
